Reason Automation was created to help brands manage their ecommerce business like Amazon does: with easy access to detailed data. Amazon data is a strategic asset but it's expensive and time-consuming to manage. When managing data is frictional you do it less often--and in e-commerce, speed and frequency matter.
As former Amazon vendor managers, marketers, and developers, we ran weekly business reviews and deep dives for some of Earth's largest consumer brands. Now we leverage those skills to help hundreds of brands in over 16 countries automate data and reporting. E-commerce teams everywhere are spending more time finding insights and less time on mundane data tasks.
Reason is not a typical startup. We don't care about unicorn status, don't brag about the major brands we serve, and don't work endless hours. We have no external investors. Reason was founded and funded by a small team. This lets us grow at our own pace and focus on solving customer problems, instead of worrying about investor growth projections. Unlike most VC-funded startups, we are profitable and don’t have to worry about a “burn rate.”

Never! Reason is a remote-only company that happens to have a small office in Seattle. Employees will never be expected to commute to or work from an office.

As a fully-remote company, we do not expect our employees to relocate. Instead we offer new employees a remote workspace setup stipend, and a WeWork coworking pass to get out of the house.
